EDUCATION AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Prior to any study of critical thinking you must be prepared to ask yourself the question; "Do I want to believe this?" Your "wants" interfere with the clarity of your reasoning. If you ring fence some beliefs and refuse to question them for emotional reasons, then you are not yet ready to engage in the critical thinking adventure.
